About Farm Income & Profit Calculator
A dynamic income and expense tracker for a complete farm P&L statement. Income Categories
Crop sale: Main produce (grain, cotton, sugarcane, etc.). By-product sale: Straw, husk, cobs, bagasse. Government subsidy: PM-KISAN, state schemes, input subsidies. Agri-tourism: Farm visits, stays, experiences. Other income: Dairy, poultry, intercropping.
Expense Categories
Seeds: Seed cost per acre. Fertilizer: Urea, DAP, MOP, complexes. Pesticide: Insecticides, fungicides, herbicides. Irrigation: Electricity/diesel for pumps. Labour: Hired labour, family labour imputed. Harvesting: Combine harvester, manual harvesting. Transport: To mandi, storage. Land rent: If leased. Other: Interest, insurance, machinery maintenance.
Output Metrics
Total Income: Sum of all income sources. Total Expenses: Sum of all expense categories. Net Profit: Total Income - Total Expenses. Profit Margin %: (Net Profit รท Total Income) ร 100. Income per Acre: Total Income รท Total Area. Profit per Acre: Net Profit รท Total Area.
Break-even Analysis
Shows the minimum yield or price needed to cover all costs. Helps farmers set target yields and negotiate minimum support prices.
